Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to determine the way value concepts are presented to the audience in terms of verbal expression and behavioral expression dimension in the domestic production my dear brother cartoon, and the frequency of values in these cartoon episodes. In the study, using the embedded theory method, one of the qualitative research methods, my dear brother cartoon was examined in terms of values. In the selection of the sample, one of the purposeful sampling methods, the theoretical sampling method, was used. Five episodes of the cartoon my dear brother constitute the sample of the research. Dear brother, The document review method was used to analyze the dear brother cartoon watched on my youtube channel. As a result of the analyzes, it was seen that the values contained in the cartoon were presented to the audience in the form of verbal expression values rather than behavioral expression values when the dimensions of verbal expression and behavioral expression were compared. Of the total value expressions (n= 142), 113 are in the “verbal expression size“ and 29 are in the ”behavioral expression size".
