Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the tendencies in the last five years in classroom management field by examining 101 studies published in the journals of SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index) bibliometricallybetween the years of 2013 and 2017. In this regard, Web of Science Core Collection database was searched using the keyword “classroom management” and relevant bibliometrical data were obtained. The studies were examined within the scope of the number of publications in line with the years, citation analyses, country of papers published, common citation network and concept-topic tendencies. Social network analysis was used to determine the common citation networks and concept-topic tendencies. Citespace 5.2 was utilised in the analysis process of data obtained. According to analysis results, it can be indicated that the interest in the field of classroom management has increased since 2013 in the context of the number of publications and citations. One of the most interesting finding reached in the study is the rise of Turkey seriously in the field of classroom management recently.
